How do I apply to rent an apartment?
All tenants have to complete an application form before a tenancy agreement is raised.
You can either complete an application form on or offline, however it’s far easier and quicker to complete online, we simply send you an email with a link through to a secure site that has a blank application form waiting for you to complete in your own time.
What does the application fee cost?
Velocity Village has a standard charge of £100 + VAT for a single applicant or £150 + VAT for a joint application. Velocity Tower has a standard charge of £130 + VAT for a single applicant or £190 + VAT for a joint application.
How can I pay the application fee?
We accept cash, cheque, debit & all major credit cards.
How much does the bond or deposit cost?
The bond is equivalent to a minimum of 1 month rent and not exceeding 3 months.
Are you registered with the (DPS) Government deposit scheme?
Yes, every bond is paid into this scheme offering all of our tenants peace of mind. The DPS will confirm in writing receipt of all monies.
When do I get my bond returned?
Subject to your apartment been handed back in exactly the same condition as it was when first occupied we then authorise the DPS to return your bond in full.
What is the rental minimum term?
3 months with any monthly permutation up to 12 months, 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 & 11 (Term is subject to availability)
How do you collect my rent?
We set up a monthly standing order or alternatively you can pay your rent in advance.
I notice you have your properties also advertised with other letting agents, are the prices the same?
Yes, we are totally transparent on all of our pricing; regardless of the agent that represents us you will pay exactly the same application fee, monthly rent & car park charges.
What additional costs are there?
The only additional costs are for utilities, electric & water only. All our properties are individually metered so you will only pay for what you use and not subsidise a third partie's excessive usage.
Do you have broadband?
Yes broadband is provided by Ask4, a local specialist that offers highly competitive packages including the option of a telephone line without line rental and ip television. For details on packages please visit www.ask4.com/residential
Can I get Sky in my apartment?
As well as the communal terrestrial television aerial on the roof we also have a communal satellite dish, all you need is your digibox and a Sky card.
Do you allow pets?
Sorry we have a strict no pet’s policy.
